Letter from the President of MVLE

Welcome to the new Web pages of Ability Nation Scentsations™! We created this site as a hub for MVLE’s enormously successful potpourri gift products. Here you can find information on all of our different varieties of potpourri boxes, scented drawer sachets and shoe fresheners. And you can also purchase them directly through this Web site. All of the Ability Nation Scentsations™ products are handmade by individuals with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to apply their many talents in a meaningful and fun job.

MVLE, Inc., started its line of floral products several years ago and it has been ever-expanding. We chose the brand name Ability Nation to shine a light on the many abilities that people with a disability have and to not let them be defined by their one disability.

Besides selling the potpourri products directly, we also partner with communities and schools for fundraising initiatives as well as being able to customize all  Ability Nation Scentsations™ products for  companies, adding, for example, logos and messages. MVLE also has implemented a new program to help wounded service men and women find their way back into the work force. The “Working Warriors” program helps employers in the recruitment process and enables returning disabled military to find permanent positions.

We at MVLE are in the business of Creating Futures, One Person At A Time and incredibly excited about this brand launch. With Ability Nation Scentsations™ we embark on yet another segment of our journey to create dignified futures through employment, person by person. The most important day in the week for many of our workers with a disability is the day when they receive their paycheck. You can feel the excitement when they open it.  It is not just about the money, it is about the independence they have earned for themselves by working hard and diligently fulfilling their job duties. Our goal here at MVLE is to enable as many people as possible to feel this empowerment. The same empowerment you feel when you have a sense of achievement in your job.

That is why we continue to strive for more innovative ways to create meaningful employment for people with disabilities, never forgetting that having a disability does not mean someone is completely disabled. Over the past 40 years MVLE has torn down many walls of prejudice and bias, opening doors for a new era of fairness and empathy. Join us by becoming a happy customer of Ability Nation Scentsations™!
